The Meaning Of Revelation | ||
| ||
Conclusion I have not tried to include every individual point from The Book of Revelation. Instead, I have focused more on the meaning of the Book of Revelation. There have been many books written, (and movies produced), that have aimed to entertain or "titillate" those with "itching ears", rather than to give them what they really needed - Truth from the Bible that could help change their lives for the better. In this lesson, I have rather chosen to give you some "meat" to "bite into" from the Book of Revelation. Nevertheless, the Bible warned us beforehand that Christians as a whole living in this current Laodicean Age would not put up with the kind of sound teaching that I have just now given to you: "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." (2 Timothy 4:2-4) Will you be "Left Behind" when Jesus comes at the Rapture? There will probably be hundreds if not thousands of churches where not a single regular church attendee will be found missing from Sunday Services on the week after the Rapture. Jesus said: "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." (John 3:7) If you have never been truly born again, then this might explain your "lukewarmness" and unwillingness to be "radical" and "sold-out" for Jesus. Trust Jesus before it is too late. Jesus will save you from your sins if you will trust Jesus to do so.
